Ireland’s Eye is an island off the coast of Howth. It has been uninhabited for centuries. It is part of the Ireland’s Eye Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and a part of the Ireland’s Eye Special Protection Area (SPA). It is also a biosphere reserve and has a Special Area of Amenity Order (SAAO).
Birds include guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes, cormorants, gannets, oyster catchers, gulls, puffins and peregrine falcons.
